Technical Expeditions

 

With a whole world of ocean out there we don’t like to limit ourselves to diving on our front porch. We want to dive all over the Philippines and the exciting places our friends tell us about in other parts of the world. So we have set up a network of contacts around the Philippines as well as around the world to allow us to dive and explore with less stress and more in-water time.

 

We invite you to join us on these trips, be they reef, wreck or cave. We have a number of possible trips which you can choose from locally or internationally.

Truk Lagoon – April 1-8 2012

The famous lagoon filled with 50+ Japanese ships from the second world war including the Fumitzuki destroyer, and the “Million Dollar” San Fransisco Maru. On board the Odyssey Liveaboard.

 

A specialist technical trip to dive the deeper wrecks. Certified technical divers only. All doubles and deco bottles available; unlimited oxygen for deco bottles, and oxygen supplied to the 4.5m hangbar by surface supply.

 

Book early as the boat is full until 2012, and we promise the best technical service available in Truk, overseen by the most experienced guides with 1000s of dives on the wrecks.

 

This trip will follow on directly from the previous weeks recreational trip also guided by Evolution.

 

Cebu Caves – Dates on request

Some of the most exciting cave diving in Asia is just a few hours drive from Malapascua. We have been searching out the jungle to bring you new sites and setting up infrastructure to get you there easily. This is not for the faint hearted and requires cave training.

Technical Facilities

Evolution Tech is proud to be the only operation in the Visayan region of the Philippines which has a booster pump and can offer technical and rebreather divers access to 200bar of oxygen. Additionally we can fill Helium at all pressures, and are happy to top up mixes with our double filtered Oxygen Clean Air.

If you forget a hose, need some spares, or just want to shop around for some new gear, we are the local dealer for Halcyon, DUI Drusuits, Gavin Scooter, Apeks, and Pelagian DCCCR, and have most bits and pieces you might need for open circuit or rebreather diving. Our retail shop is fully stocked and we are happy to chat through things with you if you have questions on configuration and set up.


We have only the best equipment available for rental, established from our personal expedition use and kept in great condition for your safety.
