Recreational Training
At Evolution we really believe in training. Taking the course which is right for you is the best way for you to improve your diving knowledge and experience. Under the gentle guidance of our highly trained team of instructors you will feel yourself progress after each lesson. Our training is designed to focus on maximum retention of information, at the same time as ensure everyone has a really fun time, in a relaxed and safe environment.

Our recreational courses are run in line with PADIs world renowned standards, and ensure you get the most out of all the time you spend studying or practising skills in the water.

Courses Available
If you want to begin or continue your dive education, enhance your in-water skills or master fun specialties then you’ve come to the right place.

We will take a non diver and have them safely scuba diving after one hour with our PADI Discover Scuba Diving or we can turn you from a fun diver to a PADI Pro with our hands-on Divemaster internship, or just pick from the myriad of other specialities on offer. Unfortunately at this point we are unable to offer Ice Diving!

Discover Scuba Diving (4 hours)
Always wanted to try diving but weren’t ready to commit?  We’ll get you from land lubber to aquanaut in just a couple of hours.

Scuba Diver (2 days)
For those tight on time this is a great way to begin your certification journey.

Open Water Diver (4 days)
For those tight on time this is a great way to begin your certification journey. The must-have certification for anyone who wants to dive. After this course you are a fully certified diver for life! If you want to maximise your time in the water then why not use PADI's e-learning - do all the theory online before you come and we'll get straight into the wet stuff.

Adventure Diver (3 dives / 1 to 2 days)
The most fun you can have diving – now that you’re certified its time to build up your skills – pick three of the following to become an Adventure Diver: AWARE – Fish Identification Dive; Boat Dive; Deep Dive; Digital Underwater Photographer Dive; Diver Propulsion Vehicle Dive; Drift Dive; Dry Suit Dive; Enriched Air Dive; Multilevel and Computer Dive; Night Dive; Peak Performance Buoyancy; Search and Recovery Dive; Underwater Naturalist Dive; Underwater Navigation Dive; Wreck Dive.

Advanced Open Water Diver (5 dives / 2 days)
Do 5 specialty dives including the compulsory Deep Dive and Navigation Dive and you’re certified.  This course allows you extend your range from a maximum depth of 18m to 30m. A  must have for Thresher Sharks aficionados (no kidding – Monad Shoal is 23m!)

Rescue Diver and Emergency First Response (c. 4 days)
Starting to feel like a comfortable diver? Well enhance your ability and problem solving by taking this course which gives you life saving rescue skills and greater awareness for all your future diving. To compliment your new diving skills you’ll learn the latest CPR and accident treatment techniques which are the same whether its diving, in the home, work or anywhere.

Master Scuba Diver (10 days)
This is the highest you can go, without turning Pro. Master 5 different Specialities and you are part of this elite scuba unit.  You can do one, some or all the Specialities with us here*. You decide!
Choose from Boat Diver; AWARE – Coral Reef Conservation: Deep Diver: Digital Underwater Photography, Diver Propulsion Vehicle; Drift Diver; Dry Suit Diver; Emergency Oxygen Provider; Enriched Air Diver (NITROX); Equipment Specialist Diver; AWARE – fish identification; Multilevel Diver; Night Diver; Peak Performance Buoyancy; Project AWARE Specialty Programme, Search and Recovery Diver; Semi-closed Rebreather; Underwater Naturalist; Wreck Diver.
*  Remember, if you prefer you can space these specialties out over weeks, months or years and still attain Master Scuba Diver once you are certified with five.

Divemaster (2 weeks to 2 months)
Ready to go pro? Look no further.  We’ll give you the best training around.  As a PADI Divemaster certified by EVOLUTION you will be representing us and our ethos for ever more as a professional – therefore we will ensure you do us proud.  Email us about our intensive course and our internships.  Yes you can live and dive daily on a tropical island just like us!
